Head to Munnar this Neelaakurinji Season [July-October] and witness the gorgeous mountains of Munnar gleaming purple with the Neelakurinjis all over it. The Neelakurinji Flower [Purple flower] blooms once in 12 years on the mountains of Munnar during the July-August months and entertains us till October. It is best enjoyed on the Mountaintops from where we get panoramic views of these Kurinji flowers stretching far off the lands and forming a picturesque purple carpet.
