The first hydroelectric project in Kerala is in Pallivasal which is 3 km away from Chithirapuram in Munnar. Chinnakanal Waterfalls or The Power House Waterfalls cascades beautifully down a 2000 m rock above sea level. The picturesque view of the Western Ghats is best seen from this scenic place. Another 7-8 km of soft trekking will take a traveler to Anayirangal. Dust off your lenses and shoot amazing pictures of elephants coming down from the hill to drink water.
