Housing an array of animal and bird species and preserving a wide range of historic pieces like swords, antique jewellery, rocks, etc. the Thrissur Zoo and State Museum started functioning in 1885. Lion-Tailed Macaque, Deer, Sloth Bear, different species of birds are some of the exotic spectacles at Thrissur Zoo.
