The Thrissur Zoo and State Museum, established in 1885, is one of the oldest and most prominent zoological parks in India, located in Chembukkavu, at the heart of Thrissur City, Kerala. The Thrissur Zoo and State Museum began its journey in 1885, offering a small collection of animals and historical artefacts. The zoo compound includes a Zoological Garden, Botanical Garden, Art Museum, and Natural History Museum.
