Our Lady of Sorrows Church is also referred to as the 'Bela Church'. It was actually built in the year 1890 and is believed to be the oldest church in Kasaragod district. This Church is dedicated to the Mother of Dolours. And it is a Roman Catholic Church which is constructed in the Gothic style of architecture. The Our Lady of Sorrows Church is now under the management of the Mangalore Diocese. This church is located just 15 Km away from Kasaragod. The annual festival of the church which is celebrated on the month of December is a major attraction here.
