Krishnapuram Palace - A palace preserved as a museum, which houses a massive mural painting that covers an area of around 53 square feet, titled as 'Gajendra Moksham' that depicts an elephant saluting Lord Vishnu and the Gods, Goddesses and sages watching it in reverence. It is one of the largest mural paintings ever found in Kerala. It also exhibits specimens like rare antiques, paintings and sculptures. With a gabled roof, dormer windows and narrow corridors, this palace is a rare specimen built in the conventional architectural style of Kerala. The large pond within the palace complex adorns this place.
