September to March is the best time to visit Thekkady. Winter season (October - February) is ideal for sightseeing and wildlife safari. March to May (Summer season) is marked with hot weather. And the temperature goes up to 36°C. June to September is the monsoon season and is a great time to enjoy the beauty of Thekkady.
