At an altitude of 1500 meters, stands the gorgeous Padagiri which is believed to be the tallest peak of the beautiful Nelliyampathy Hills which has a height of about 1572m. Padagiri is often referred to as Nellikota. It is a favourite weekend getaway among locals as well as the tourists. The most striking feature of this quaint peak is its alluring tall teak plantation. The sceneries and climate at Padagiri are mesmerizingly beautiful. Vellichamudi, Valiyana, Velavanchan and Mayanmudi are similar peak situated near Padagiri. Trekking and camping are arranged at a base camp which is located at Kaikatty.
