The Tourism Department of Kerala<\/strong> made the Dam site more appealing to the tourists by constructing a beautiful aquarium and they have also started boating as well as canoeing facilities at the spot. The place also offers the opportunity for nature walks which attracts a lot of nature lovers to this beautiful location. The dam is open throughout the year and best visited after the Sun is past the golden hours. Low light conditions are more prone in this cloud dangling atmosphere where mist might ruin the show. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During summer, this won\u2019t be a problem for spotting rare species of birds. Edakkal Caves<\/a> <\/strong>is the place you should go for admiring the communication, carving, and knowledge of our ancestors. You\u2019ll experience breathtaking visuals of Wayanad from Edakkal Caves which was found in 1890 by Fred Fawcett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Meenmutty<\/a>, Soochipara<\/a>, and Karalad<\/strong> are precious waterfalls <\/strong>Wayanad possess for a toxicity clearing bath.
